Our beautiful and peaceful Loon Lake is a private lake located in the Adirondack Park in Northern New York State. It lies about 15 miles northeast of Saranac Lake and about 25 miles northwest of Lake Placid, which was home to the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympic Games. Loon Lake has a unique history, with several US Presidents having vacationed here. Summers bring a professional concert series known as "Loon Lake Live". And, yes, there are Loons on the lake.

E. L. Doctorow's historical novel "Loon Lake" was written about our lake.
