Welcome to Loon Lake, New York and the
Website of the Loon Lake Homeowners Association
Our beautiful and peaceful Loon Lake is a private lake located in the Adirondack Park in Northern New York State. It lies about 15 miles northeast of Saranac Lake and about 25 miles northwest of Lake Placid,
which was home to the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympic Games. Loon Lake has a unique history, with several US Presidents having vacationed here. Summers bring a professional concert series known as "Loon Lake Live". And, yes, there are
Loons on the lake.

E. L. Doctorow's historical novel "Loon Lake" was written about our lake. |
Homeowners and visitors to Loon Lake are encouraged to submit photos, fishing stories, and written memories for posting on this website. Email them to
webmaster@loonlakehoa.org. Also, please avail yourselves of our new message board for any and all Loon Lake related information!
Please turn on your speakers to experience the sounds of Loons, courtesy of William Barklow "Voices of the Loon".
If you have a slow Internet connection, it may take a minute
or so to download the Loon sounds.
